"Honestly, I probably check my phone far more than I'd like to admit — realistically, dozens of times a day, though a lot of that is just quick glances at messages. As for the most useful app, I'd say it's probably my banking app, simply because it lets me manage everything financial without ever having to visit a branch, which saves me a huge amount of time."

"I'd like to talk about my laptop, which I'd say is probably the piece of technology I rely on most heavily on a day-to-day basis. I use it pretty much every single day, both for work and for personal things like streaming shows or keeping in touch with friends abroad.
Professionally, I use it for almost everything — writing reports, joining video calls, and organising my schedule. Without it, honestly, I don't think I could do my job at all anymore, which says a lot about how central it's become to modern working life.
The reason I find it so useful isn't just that it's powerful or fast, but that it's genuinely versatile — one single device replaces what would once have required a typewriter, a telephone, a camera, and a filing cabinet. That combination of convenience and capability is really what makes it indispensable to me."

"I do think older generations often find new technology more challenging, though I'd hesitate to generalise too much. A lot of it comes down to familiarity rather than ability — younger people have simply grown up surrounded by these tools, whereas older adults are often adapting to systems that weren't designed with them in mind. That said, I've met plenty of older people who are remarkably tech-savvy, so it's certainly not a fixed rule."

- Fluency and Coherence: Sample answers use natural discourse markers ("Honestly," "That said," "As for") which keep speech connected without sounding memorised.
- Lexical Resource: Less common but natural collocations are used ("tech-savvy," "indispensable," "central to modern working life") rather than basic vocabulary.
- Grammar: A mix of simple and complex sentence structures, including conditionals ("Without it... I don't think I could") and relative clauses.
- Pronunciation: In real practice, focus on natural word stress and intonation, particularly on key opinion words like "genuinely" and "realistically."
Possible follow-up questions an examiner might ask:
